Halloween!

Here are the Halloween costume pics!

Nathan was a monster. Perfect for him. He loved his costume and did not even mind the hood part. We spent the evening at our ward's Trunk or Treat. Nathan's nursery leader ended up taking him around four or five times to all the cars. He picked up on what to do REALLY fast. It was heaven for him, outside, running around and people giving him candy. He did keep sneaking over to the donut game (donuts tied on strings that you were supposed to try and eat without hands). The one at his level he pulled right off before anyone could catch him. Then, he went over again to try and get one with his mouth, but it was just out of his reach.

Emma was a fairy. Now, we had to explain that to people as her costume was quite interesting. She wore a silver sparkly skirt on bottom from her dress up collection, a black shirt, black tights and shoes. Then she put her silver sparkly tap dance skirt on like a strapless top, under her armpits. We bought her wings and she was given a fairy wand that lights up that was supposed to be her Christmas gift from Nana. The hair was my creation, thought it looked like a PIxie thing. I let her wear eye shadow, mascara, blush and lipstick , along with body glitter. She thought that was the greatest thing ever until night time and we had to take it off. She decided she does not like make up after all, especially when it gets in your eyes. Maybe that will cure her for at least another ten years:)

Bailey was Peter, King of Narnia. He had been constantly reminding us for about a month leading up to Halloween that since he was King, he could tell everyone what to do. He spent the entire time running around with his friends. I don't think we ever saw him. At the end of the night, he said "I need to go to bed. This has been a busy day." He got in his pajamas and climbed in bed and went to sleep. We will not comment on the contrast of putting Emma to bed that night.
