More Pictures

Ben is pulling an all nighter at work (yes, lawyers do that). I am catching up on Dancing with the Stars and realizing I will not sleep well tonight:)  I haven't put up these pic of the boys.  I thought it was cute one night that they happened to wear their NICU shirts on the same night for pjs.

They are the best big brothers ever with very lucky little sisters:)

And now I must get back to watching David Haselhoff dance?!  Um, maybe I won't watch that one:)

My bling

The You Tube video "Swagger Waggon" is a must see.  Thanks to Heidi for making me this sticker:)

Funny Day

This morning, I got lots of love from my kids:

Emma: "Mom, thank you so much for folding socks and putting them in my drawer!" This would seem like a funny thing to be thankful for, but in our house, socks are hard to come by in a drawer.

Nathan: "Thank you for telling me I have to poop, Mom, you did such a good job!" It's the little stinky things that count!

This afternoon, Emma's mind had changed about me as she said, "Fe Fi Fo Fum, I smell the blood of a mommy who is mean to me!"

It's OK, she likes me again now--I'm "letting" her clean out under her bed.

Friday with NKA

This morning we met a mom and her two girls (who happen to be twins!) at Mahaney Park in Roseville.  I "met" Bekki through a twins message board I used to go on when I was preggo.  She lives about ten minutes away, even graduated from Bella Vista and we have never met in person.  I am weird about things like that and never liked to give out personal info online.  But we became Facebook friends and I was able to see for long enough that she wasn't a crazy.  Unfortunately, we talked so much we did not take pictures of our girls or each other!  I did snap a few before she got there.

Addison thought the spin chair was funny until she leaned forward and it went faster.  She could barely walk afterward.  Kate tried it and almost flew completely off of it.  Neither asked to get on it the rest of the morning.
This park has some larger than life things to play on.  It is a must visit!
Nathan had this ladybug going so fast it was pulling up the foam from underneath.  He is my little maniac!
They thought they wanted to share the bumblebee, but that didn't last long.

We will be frequenting this park more often for sure. The girls took the best nap when we got home.

No Idea

Lacking creativity for a title...so it gets this one.  I haven't taken many pictures lately.  We are a bit busy packing, school, etc...

Most days, I am here with the Three Musketeers, aka Nathan, Kate and Addy.  They do pretty well playing together most of the time which is nice.  We are pretty lucky that as much as our kids bug each other daily, they really do love to be together.

Last Saturday we went to the Air Show with my Mom and Ross, Leena and Johanna.

I would say that for our kids, it was not the best place to take them.  Nathan was freaked out by the planes flying overhead.  We are cheap and wouldn't pay 5/per child to let them play in the bounce house area. The only person truly excited by it all was Ben. Maybe he and Ross should just go together next year:)
Funny thing was is that they could have cared less about seeing the planes, but as soon as we got in the car and headed home there were a few flying close to us by Sunrise Blvd.  They all got excited and said. "Look, look! Airplanes!!" Really?!  You are face to face with these things and get excited once you see it from miles and miles away and it looks like a speck?  I don't understand them...
But Nathan is still talking about it, so maybe it was one of those things you do with your kids that you think everyone is miserable and then 20 years later they all talk about "Remember when we had so much fun at that air show..."

We have a busy few months coming up, so maybe this blog will see some better activity!

Well Hello There!

I realized I haven't blogged since the first day of school!  It isn't that we haven't been doing anything, just busy and I have no pictures to put up, so no pint to writing:)  I did take one yesterday and it reminded me to blog...

Nathan, passed out, Wii remote at his side.  He can work it well enough to pick the Netflix on the Wii shows he wants to watch.  It is his special time with the Wii when the girls do down for a nap.  He loves the control!  Apparently, he was a little tired yesterday.

We are back in the swing of the school year and into our regular routine.  I for some reason FORGOT I was handling all the Scholastic orders for the school and signed up to be the Art docent in Bailey's class.  Oh well, I am excited to get to know his teachers.  He loves them and loves school.  Emma loves her friends and being the big girl on campus, well, in the Purple Room with all the new Kinders.

Kate and Addy are heading into two year old land, and it is hard to believe.  Kate has told me three times this week that she was stinky right before she went poop.  She might master it before Nathan!  He is actually better, and has improved.  It's a snail pace, but I now have hope I won't be cleaning out nasty underwear forever:)

Oh, and we're moving...to Lincoln (less than ten minutes from the kids school). Time to get the moving boxes back out:)
