At Bailey and Emma's school, they do not do Halloween. It's a Montessori thing, I guess. Anyway, they do have each grade dress up as different things. Emma had to be a community helper. She chose to be a chef who bakes cakes (her words!). Bailey had to research an inventor or innovator, do a report and come dressed as that inventor. He chose Wilhelm Reuntgen, the inventor of the X-Ray. Ben and I were able to go and watch him do his report, as it is his first one. Although he was nervous, he had read/memorized everything on his paper all by himself. And Reuntgen, physics, electrons and Nobel Prize are not easy to say:) Emma had fun in the "Hooray" (what she kept calling the "Parade"...easy mistake:) Her class also made lot sof crafts and ate candy--Emma couldn't ask for anything more!
