Quick update

The soonest Kate will be home is next Wednesday the 21st.  The doctor has set her heart rate drop limit to 60 (it usually counts as a drop under 100).  Once she goes one week without having one at that level she can go home.  He is concerned with her heart murmur/heart rate drop /low blood count combo.  He does not feel comfortable sending her home until he can feel she will be OK.  Although this is tough, at least we have solid criteria and have a better idea as to when she will be home.  We can only trust that he is doing what is best for her.  Everything else is great...she eats well (even nurses when I go visit) and is gaining weight.  So we are hoping for next Wednesday!
