Don't bounce on a trampoline with a bunch of people and a broken broom handle....

Spring Break (is over..sniff)
We were lucky to have 2 1/2 weeks of Spring Break, and tomorrow the kids go back. Which means I am on the road again each day (and have to get up and get moving!) We tried to do a few fun things over the break. We ended up at the park, library, etc... but I had also promised them a bounce trip.
We also spent some time over spring break at the stores with my new found coupon obsession. Target now has these amazing carts that fit all of my kids! Now, that's a feat.
Kate and Addison in the big bounce
Nathan, my little crazy man. He doesn't let his crazy allergies get in the way of playing. The poor kid is living on Claritin!
Addison wasn't quite sure she liked it the entire time
Kate sure was
Emma going crazy
And giving a crazy face
Bailey doing tricks
Kate could get in and out on her own 100%
Addison liked hanging with Mommy better than playing
When they see me coming in the store, everyone moves out of the way (by choice or not). We are coming through! Heeley's on the older ones are courtesy of our house, but they can hang on and just roll with me.
Back to school, back to routine. And only a month left until bar results...in case you missed our big old ticker!

1 Brother, 2 hours and 3 Stores Equals
$123 dollars in grocery savings...woo-hoo! Didn't take a picture, but the bags filled up my van. And we have enough Pringles to last us until 2020...
Thanks, Uncle Curtis for holding down the fort while I did the shopping!

Egg Hunt
The Saturday before Easter, we (I, as Ben stayed home with sleeping twins) took the older three to the Ruggles annual Easter egg hunt. Last year, Bailey was so focused on getting the golden egg (worth some money, I think?) that he didn't pick up any other eggs and then was upset at the end. This year, we had a talk about how to pick up everything you see first, and THEN look for the golden or silver eggs.
As you can see, he got the idea.
Nathan making a dash for the 3 and under eggs, spread out nicely over the front lawn
Emma made out quite nicely in the 4-7 area.

Nathan and Madelyn enjoying their loot
This was before Nathan was allowed to descend on the eggs- he was irritated
It took a while for me to get him to pick them all up. At first, he only wanted certain colors.
They had a great time and this was actually the first year I took pictures I think. The egg hunt is over in about ten minutes, but the candy is lasting quite nicely:)

Worn Out...
A trip to the gym, Burger King(yes defeats the purpose), the library and the park, then home for story time and some good ol' Mickey Mouse Club House and voila!
A sleeping Nathan. At 3 p.m. when you have lots of homework, this couldn't be nicer:)

15 months, a bit late
I just took the girls to their 15 month check up, a few weeks behind. I cannot remember exact stats(and I had all five kids with me and it was an um, interesting dr. appt.), but they are slowly growing closer to each other in size. Their heads are exactly the same, Addison is now only 1/4 inch taller than Kate, and Kate is only 1 pound bigger than Addison (22.5 and 21.5 approx.)
Kate decided at the doctor's office that she wanted to walk around the entire room. Every time she would fall, she would get right back up and walk again. She hasn't really done it since, but definitely progress! Addison has taken about 5 steps and still loves to randomly stand all over the house. I'm sure in some future post I will eat my words about wishing for walking. My thought is to have a jump rope with us when we go out with assigned places to hold on. We can have a little ducky line. Who knows, maybe I'll just tie a rope around all their waists and herd them like cattle...
