Quickly!

Alright, so the house really needs some attention with unpacking!!   But, we did have a three way doc appointment today and I need to document before the stats leave my head....

Addison weighs in at 9 lbs., 6 oz. 21 1/2 inches long in the 22nd percentile
Kate comes in a close second at 8 lbs., 7 oz. 21 inches long, varying in the 5th-10th percentile
(OK, so it's not that close, but she is still progressing!)

Also, the doctor listened to her heart and said the murmur is sounding quieter, I think?  What she meant was that it seems to be closing up.  We'll get a good check up on it next month at the cardiologist.

Nathan is now 27 pounds, 33 inches tall.  He is in the 40th percentile, and the doc said if he grows the way he is, he will end up about 5 foot 10.  Not too bad.

The girls did not get shots today because they did not receive their shipment in time.  Doc said they will be fine to wait until 4 months to get their first rounds.  I'm actually a little happy about that considering they are preemies.

So, in the rain with two two month olds and a two year old is more than double trouble!  One lady even commented as I was walking out how "full my hands were" (haven't heard that one before!)  Then she said-what did you have triplets or something!  I bit my tongue to not say "Either help me or shut up!"  But I caught Nathan as he was wondering out to the parking lot, got him in the car and the girls only were barely rained on.  Phew...It's done for two more months.

Also, I noticed the ticker today for law school countdown... we are only nine months away. It'll be like the sixth child we will never have:)

Moving into the house is going well.  I am going to take pictures, especially of my ice maker in the fridge of which I am most excited!

Holding hands

Maybe it's comforting?  Who knows, but it's cute.

Maybe it's like your appendix...

Can you see it (or lack of it)? Read below and then come back and look!

Monday night...Oh what a fun night!  I was in cleaning the kitchen when I heard Nathan start screaming.  I went into the living room and found him face down on the floor, his little tricycle on top of him.  Bailey had already rushed to his side, and was trying to calm him down.  I was going to let him just get up by himself and shake it off, but I thought I'd be an extra nice mommy and pick him up.  I noticed there was blood on an animal cracker on the floor, then that there was blood on the floor, then on my shirt where Nathan had buried his face.  I looked to see where the blood was coming from and realized it was his mouth.  So, you know that little flap of skin attached behind your lip to the top of your gums above your two front teeth?  Well, that was detached....  I was able to stop the bleeding, but it didn't look like it would stay that way long.  I called Ben and he eagerly came home (he has a bit of senioritis with school right now).  We weren't sure what it exactly means to detach that part of your mouth. I mean, what is it used for?  Nathan recovered fairly quickly and decided while he was in the bathroom he wanted to go potty.  So I put him on his little toilet.  Well, he sat there for a while until he decided it would be better to pee in the doorway of the bathroom.  I mean, there was already a blood mess for me to clean up, why not pee as well?!  Ben came home and we called the dentist's after hours number.  He called back and said it would be OK until Wednesday when he would be in the office to look at it.   Well, that was today and all is well.  The dentist said that if it doesn't re-attach, it'll be fine.  So, Nathan might forever have a detached whatever it's called.  Everyone has to have some funny thing about themselves to talk about at a party, right?

Big Ol Babies!

So I know that these last few pictures have all been in their car seats, but really they do other things than get toted around!  As you can see, Addison in all her chub glory (see info below).  I had to get pictures of them in their cute flower headbands!
Kate is below, slightly smaller in chub but she sure tries hard!

The girls got weighed today.  Drum roll please...........................................

Addison is 9 pounds, Kate is 8 pounds 4 ounces.

Quite the difference between them, but at their one month check up a few weeks ago, they were 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 7 pounds 1 ounce.

For the Record

Addison in her pink bunny hat from Nana.  We are heading to the park and she is headed to sleep....

Kate has already beat her there...

Addison is definitely the chubbier of the two.

So I am trying to write more to go along with pictures.  I told Ben about how my friend Melanie had her blog turned into a book and now he is more interested in our blog:)  We will probably have it printed once a year.

Today we went to playgroup, a Wednesday tradition for the last five years (!)  Well, by the time I got there I could only stay for a half hour because Bailey and Emma had a half day.  Oh well... Nathan had fun anyway.  What is funny is the new "generation" of play group kids.  When I started Emma was about nine months old, almost about to walk.  Now, Nathan is the same as most of the kids--and there is a pretty large crop.  I think about nine of us in the ward were pregnant all about the same time (a September to February range).  Now, the new editions are coming, with the twins age group.  It'll be fun to watch each age range grow up together.

Too cute....

I had put them together on their tummies in bed, thinking they might hang out for a bit.  Instead they both fell asleep and this is what I found...
Kate is in pink, Addison in purple

Nathan's Birthday Party

Nathan got a tricycle from Grandma and Boppa.  He can't really ride it yet, but he pushes himself around the house in it.  For now it is indoors until we move to our new house with a backyard where he can go crazy.  He is a biking fool...

"ELMO!" He was excited to open his new movie from Nana and Grandpa Scott. They also got him some books that were great for Church on Sunday!

Blowing out his two candles.  This took a couple tries and Bailey and I helping.  You would think how much he loves to torment Emma by spitting on her, he would get this down.

Bailey and Emma did their rock star show, Special Birthday Edition for Nathan.  They are true entertainers.  I still need to figure out how to post their Christmas show in the blog or You Tube.  It was seriously the funniest thing ever.

Last but not least, here is the cutest two year old with his birthday balloon.  It is Monday and he is STILL carrying this thing around and playing with it.  He sleeps with it by his bed, takes it in the car, up and down the stairs, etc...
